The Marlborough Suite is a two bedroom suite in the prestigious Hope House located in Woodstock, just on the outskirts of Oxford. Hope House was built in 1708 for a local councillor and mayor, who went on to collect the taxes to pay for the Palace, Hope House is one of a few grand houses in Woodstock designed in a Vanbrughan style. Constructed at the same time as Blenheim Palace it is easily understood why it has been described as a sister property. The railings to the front of the House and stone in which they are set, are the same as the ralings within the Palace grounds around the Queens Pond. The stone used for construction is from the same source as the Palace stone.  

Located on the second floor the suite has large airy oak-beamed rooms which are furnished with gilt and mirror pieces. Decorated in a restful palette of green silks and gilt furnishings. The master bedroom has a king size bed with elaborate gilt headboard as a center piece. The second bedroom is equipped with zip link twin/king beds and the bathroom has a cast iron Victorian roll top bath which sits adjacent to your own in bathroom TV. Bed and Breakfast is available at the accommodation but there is also a communal kitchen that is used by the three suites in the property. Each suite also has it's own mini-fridge.

Cutteslowe

This neighbourhood lies both sides of the Oxford Ring road and north of Summertown. It boasts one of the loveliest parks and is home to North Oxford Golf Club and also North Oxford Tennis Club. A good residential area of the city with easy access both by car and public transport to either the city centre of areas to the North, East and West such as Kidlington, Banbury, Cowley, Abingdon or Witney.
